Upon first listening, I didn't WANT to like this album; it was too polished, too brittle, compared to something like "The Narcotic Story" or "Love That's Last." But I find myself coming back to this album, entranced by Oxbow's masterful ability to blend delicate musical complexity with driving, muscular, dissonant sounds. panicvolkushka

I believe I've discovered that the proper way to ingest this album is to alternate between Avow and Hagbulbia tracks in descending order. Each pummeling by Avow is interspersed with a suffocating, premonitory density of Hagbulbian conjuration. Sugammadex
